Sean Carney has taken his bluesy rhythms across the country from the Columbus base that his self-titled band calls home. He won the Albert King Best Guitarist Award at last year's International Blues Challenge in Memphis, and he's played gigs ranging from the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival to San Francisco's Biscuits & Blues blowout.Sure, the blues vet looks good onstage, but he plays even better. Like a throwback club hound, Carney dazzles audiences with his upbeat lounge favorites. His nimble fingers riff on blues gems by Robert Lockwood Jr. and T-Bone Walker, whose tunes he covers in his swing-infused sets. He even considers Eric Clapton one of his BFFs. Showtime is at 8 p.m. today and 9 p.m. tomorrow at Fat Fish Blue, 21 Prospect Avenue East. Admission is free. Call 216-875-6000 or visit www.fatfishblue.com.
