Hard Rock Cafe "Imagine" Hunger Event
In his iconic song "Imagine," John Lennon asked listeners to picture a world free from hunger — a message that lives on today through the global Imagine There's No Hunger campaign. While The Hard Rock Cafe Cleveland will be closed for normal business on Thanksgiving, it will be opening its doors to feed the less fortunate a traditional dinner. Turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, and even pumpkin pie for dessert will be served to all comers from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., or until the food is gone. In the city that birthed rock 'n' and roll, it's a great way to give back to the community.

St. Augustine Thanksgiving
What better way to start a day of thanksgiving than by feeding the needy? Every year, Sister Corita and the good people at St. Augustine Church in Tremont serve and deliver over 10,000 meals to many unfortunate families in greater Cleveland. With major support from public, private, and government food donations, they execute this mission of goodwill with military precision. But along with donated food, they depend heavily on donated time. Anyone interested in lending a hand can start lining up at 8 a.m. to deliver meals to homes in the surrounding area. This is a great family activity that embodies the true spirit of the holiday. If you want to lend a hand, contact the church staff at the number below.

B Spot is Getting Happier
Michael Symon is just a big kid at heart, and now he's got the menu to prove it. On the heels of rolling out new Happy Hour specials at three of his B Spot locations, he's added a full kids' menu. In addition to mini-burgers, bologna sliders, grilled cheese, and chicken fingers, it offers healthy — relatively speaking — options like grilled chicken, sides of mixed berry chobani yogurt, sliced avocado, salad or apples. The kids' meal combo is $5 and includes a choice of meal, side, and a drink for children 12 and under. And for the grown-ups, B Spot is now offering an all-natural Pat LaFreida Turkey Burger. For an extra $1, you can trade in your beef patty for a gourmet slice of turkey. It's a healthy option that also happens to taste great.
