Cult Classics

When: Sat., March 7 2015

The Melt Bar & Grilled Late Shift at Cleveland Cinemas regularly offers late-night screenings of cult classics. Tonight, the Cedar Lee hosts two separate events, both of which have plenty of appeal. At 9:30 and midnight, the theater will screen the 2000 teen comedy Bring It On. The movie stars Kirsten Dunst, Gabrielle Union and Eliza Dushku and centers on a cheerleading team captain (Dunst) who tries to lead her team to a national championship. And because it’s the first Saturday of the month, the theater will also host a midnight screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the 1975 film that still draws an exuberant, costumed crowd that likes to throw rice and dry toast and sing along to the songs in the movie. Tickets to Bring It On cost $5 and tickets to The Rocky Horror Picture Show are $9, or $6 if you don a costume. (Niesel)
