The Cleveland Cinema Late Shift series and the Cedar Lee Theater (in honor of Halloween, no doubt) brings you Argento’s Dracula 3D this evening. The Italian horror-meister Dario Argento tags his movies a lot like Tyler Perry does, and in this case it’s meant to connote films positively drenched in gore and sex. This doozy tells the classic tale of Dracula, an undead count who lures an Englishman to Transylvania for a job and then preys on his young wife. The smoking hot young wife, by the way, is played by Asia Argento, the director’s daughter. She’s a hybrid of Gemma Arterton and Rachel Weisz, to give you an idea. The film also stars Blade Runner’s Rutger Hauer, America’s favorite Dutchman. Like all Late Shift showings, the film screens at midnight and admission is $10.
