When: Sat., May 30, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sun., May 31, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. 2015
Introduce yourself to papermaking with the Deckle Box. In this manner of papermaking, paper is made without the use of a traditional vat. Sheets are formed by pouring fiber directly into the deckle box before draining onto interfacing. Great for new and experienced papermakers alike, students will have the opportunity to make both medium and large sheets, and a variety of pulps and pigments will be explored.
