Dopapod/Aliver Hall

Halloween shows are always awesome, and Dopapod’s stand in Cleveland tonight promises all the electro-heady funk you could possibly want. Quickly becoming one of the must-see/must-follow bands on the jam circuit these days, Dopapod have been kind to Northeast Ohio in terms of their shows in recent years. Back in February of this year, the band opened a Kent show with “Turnin’ Knobs,” which bears all the patented Dopapod elements from their 2012 album. And everything from Drawn Onward constitutes very necessary prep for tonight’s gig. “French Bowling,” in particular, has some great dynamics to it. Grab a costume and head to the Grog. Gypsydaze and Aliver Hall open the show. (Sandy)
