Eastern Philosophy

by

Comedian Robert Hawkins swears that he goes over better with audiences in the eastern part of the country. “People there get my sarcasm,” he says. “Because they invented it.” Even the homeless people there mock you, he says. “This guy goes, ‘Do you have any change?’ I said no. ‘Do you have any cigarettes?’ No. ‘Do you know what time it is?’ No. He says, ‘It’s 8:30,’ and walks off. The guy has no home, no change, and no cigarettes, but he’s got an attitude.”
