For years now, Edwin McCain has been milking the success of "I'll Be," the dude's sappy hit from '93. And why the hell not? You gotta take it as it comes. Besides, McCain ain't reinventing the wheel anytime soon; although he has managed to carve out a nice little career for himself, singing to weepy soccer moms as well as those who dig serious singer-songwriter fare. He maintains a healthy bank statement with a new album nearly every year; the latest, Lost in America, is one of McCain's more solid efforts to date.

As many locals know, Cleveland has held a longtime love affair with McCain, and so it's appropriate the dude's never-ending tour schedule finds him in C-Town for New Year's Eve, which is always a great payday for any musician. Now we can't guarantee that you'll be locking lips with Edwin at midnight, but we're guessing he'll bust into "Auld Lang Syne" when the clock strikes 12.
