Ekphrastacy: Artists Talk + Poets Respond

When: Thu., July 6 2017

The current group exhibition at Heights Arts, Encore, showcases the work of several local artists. In conjunction with the exhibition, Heights Arts hosts Ekphrastacy: Artists Talk + Poets Respond at 7 tonight. During the event, artists will discuss their work and local poets will read prose written in response to select works on view. Encore remains up through July 23. You can also check out Aimee Lee's Hanbok's Gifts, a series of new sculptural paper works created with hanji (Korean paper) in the Spotlight Gallery, just steps from the main gallery space. Lee's work has been exhibited internationally and resides in numerous public and private collections, including the Cleveland Institute of Art's Gund Library. Hanbok's Gifts remains on view through Aug. 6. Admission is free. (Usmani)
