Music » Makin' the Scene

10 p.m. Sunday, June 5, free. At B-Side Liquor Lounge, 2785 Euclid Hts. Blvd., lower level, Cleveland Hts., 216-932-1966.

Capsule's indie rock days may be over, but Britpop is eternal. Catch the temporarily displaced Ben Vendetta at Empire!, his monthly DJ night at the B-Side Liquor Lounge. This month, the boy and girl in the snazziest, most mod gear will get a free copy of Smashing Orange's 1991, an LP drenched in guitar effects that's been newly reissued on Vendetta's Elephant Stone Records. C'mon down, if you wanna be adored.
