On Exene Cervenka & the Original Sinners' Sev7en LP, the former X frontwoman is back to doing what she does best, and she's doing it better than she has in years -- the rocking punkabilly set isn't just catchy; it's fun. Since releasing the previous Sinners disc, she's replaced most of her backing band with 7 Shot Screamers, rough-and-tumble roots rockers from St. Louis, who'll warm up for the headlining set by running through their own hard-twang material.
