In his new book Great Lakes Folklore: Legends of the Five Sisters, local scribe Charles Cassady Jr. provides what he describes as a “voyage into the strange stories about boats and men, ghost ships, naval battles, sea serpents, submarines and true tales (and some untrue tales) of the Great Lakes.” If there’s anyone in town capable of pulling this off, it’s Cassady. He’s already penned books such as Cleveland Ghosts, Paranormal Great Lakes and Paranormal Mississippi River.
