Join us for this four-day intensive exploration of the connections among fiber, paper, textile, book and spirit. Using paper that is both made during class, and provided by the instructors, students will learn fiber techniques that are ideal for handmade papers: spinning, weaving, cording and texturing. Students will use bookbinding techniques to make books in which to store samples made in class. Stories, mythology and traditions of various cultures will be woven into the entire experience.
