Film Fest in Akron
Do you get bored easily? Find yourself trailing off midway through your favorite television programs? The Akron Art Museum has a cure this week: the third-annual installment of the ever-popular Freakishly Short Animation Festival. Presented by Akron Film, the fest caters to the ADHD in all of us with 70 minutes of ever-so-short Halloween-themed animation from artists around the world. If previous years' events are any indication, this baby is sure to fill to bursting — so show up plenty early. The event is free, and seating will be on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Charles and Jane Lehner Auditorium at the Akron Art Museum (One South High St.).
