Finding Satisfaction

When: Fri., Aug. 23, 7 p.m. 2013

Half a century, 50 years, a lifetime: anyway you slice it, you can't help but be impressed by the Rolling Stones' endurance. Between heroine problems, deaths and the massive ego that comes with any successful rock band, it’s amazing they didn’t tear each other apart by this time. But unless you had a small fortune ready to drop on one of their concerts it’s unlikely you saw them on tour this year. Thankfully, Lock 3 summer concerts are free. Satisfaction, an internationally touring Rolling Stones tribute group, will start you up with perfectly recreated songs. Chris LeGrand leads the band as Mick Jagger with all the dancing, athleticism and good looks that the role requires. All the greatest hits from the band's 50-year catalogue will be present down to the howling vocals of “Sympathy For The Devil” and the rugged guitar riffs of “Brown Sugar.” Catch the band tonight at 8:30 after opener Electric Mud, who plays at 7 p.m. (William Hoffman)
