When: Sat., Sept. 17 2016
Last year’s FireFish Festival was a big success — drawing 10,000 attendees to Downtown Lorain. Drawing upon the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s festival promises to be both bigger and better. Utilizing alternative spaces for performances, exhibitions and installations, FireFish has a uniquely DIY feel to it. The evening features a percussion parade that culminates in the burning an oversized, ceremonial fish effigy at the end of the night. The 2nd Annual FireFish Festival takes place from 2 to 11 p.m. today. Free. (Usmani) (FireFish Festival) 617 Broadway Ave., Lorain, firefishfestival.com.
