"When I first heard the demo, I don't think I knew how young they were," says Metal Blade founder Brian Slagel. "And that kind of added on to the possibility. If a band is this good this young, they're going to grow to be even better."
Early samples from Restless in the Tides, Forever in Terror's debut, sound like the work of high-endurance practice fanatics twice their age. Although a shredding dual-guitar front gives the songs the barest hint of melody, Nick Borukhovsky's grind-velocity drum blasts keep things moving at a brutal clip. If these kids drive as fast as they play, pray they're too busy touring to get licenses.
