There are some terrific contemporary French cinema options at the Cinematheque this weekend. Start tonight by seeing Juliette Binoche in a ravishing, “mesmerizing” performance in Camille Claude 1915. The plot follows Claudel (former lover of Auguste Rodin) as she tries to convince her doctor that she’s mentally stable and should be released from the loony bin where she’s confined. Catch screenings tonight at 8:35, tomorrow night at 7 and Saturday night at 7:20. Tickets are $9. (Sam Allard)
