There’s absolutely no reason your kids should wait another two months to experience Cedar Point-type thrills. The I-X Indoor Amusement Park, which opens today and runs for the next three weeks, includes junior versions of all the faves: ginormous slides, spinning rides, and, of course, several roller coasters.

Now in its 18th year, the annual indoor outing features more than 20 acres of action. In addition to the usual amusement-park staples, the I-X Center also offers kids dancing dogs, a circus they can participate in, and a new Kiddie Karaoke area, where they can act like American Idol hopefuls.
