Ghost Story

When: Fri., March 14 2014

In a reflection of the Christian depiction of heaven and hell, C.S. Lewis' The Great Divorce is a ghost story like no other. Taking a bus trip from purgatory to the foothills of heaven, the narrator and fellow passengers find themselves in a world of pain, as it's revealed they're ghosts. Focusing more on the existential aspect rather than the spooky, the play offers Lewis' signature questioning of the afterlife. Produced by the same folks that put on Lewis' The Screwtape Letters, this play offers a similar, humorous outlook on the afterlife. The show starts tonight at the Ohio Theatre at 8 and two more performances take place tomorrow at 4 and 8 p.m. Tickets are $31 to $91. (Stoops)
