Grand Buffet

At CMJ/Rock Hall Music Fest, with Mission Man, Flo White, and Love Smashing Face Punch. 10 p.m. Friday, June 10, $7. The Grog Shop, 2785 Euclid Hts. Blvd., Cleveland Hts., 216-321-5588.

Grand Buffet will spend the latter part of the summer in Europe, supporting indie-hop icon Sage Francis. But for now, it's pushing Five Years of Fireworks, a new DVD-CD recap of the story so far. Full of '80s-style keyboard tracks and weaponized beats, the dynamic rap duo is the Eastern seaboard's sole purveyor of Benjamin Franklin Music. (That's street lingo for "humorous, though biting, social commentary and songs about candy bars, video games, and ongoing centuries-old conspiracies that affect your daily life.")
