Cross-country runners may not be as fast as greyhounds, but they can still help retired racing dogs by registering for today’s 5K run. Greyhound Adoption of Ohio (GAO) will host its third annual Greyt Race to support the non-profit organization’s mission of finding homes for forgotten greyhound racing dogs. Since its inception 18 years ago, GAO has found homes for more than 2,000 dogs and they hope to continue their efforts in the upcoming years. Registration begins at 7 a.m. today at the Rocky River Market. (William Hoffman)
