Home Alone for the Holidays

While Home Alone was a huge box office hit, it didn't exactly turn Macaulay Culkin into a superstar. In fact, outside of a Home Alone sequel, he hasn't had another hit though he's gotten some sporadic roles here and there. And yet, he's perfectly cast as Kevin McCallister, the young kid who inadvertently gets left behind one Christmas and then has to deal with a team of burglars. Tonight at 7:30 at Severance Hall, the Cleveland Orchestra will perform John Williams' score while the movie plays on a big screen. Tickets are $25 to $100. (Niesel)
