Invasion U.S.A.

When: Fri., June 24 2016

One of action hero Chuck Norris’s most absurd, paranoid and xenophobic films, Invasion U.S.A. tells the story of an ass-kicking ex-CIA agent who's happily retired and living in the Everglades. Government officials force him out of retirement to deal with a band of Commie terrorists who have come to Miami, causing chaos, invoking panic and threatening Christmas. The film screens tonight at 7 and tomorrow night at 8:40 at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque as part of the repertory theater's the Republicans are Coming series. Tickets are $10, $8 for Members. (Wohler)
