Few things in life pair more appropriately than good music and good food, but if you add a dash of charity, then you’ve got yourself a fine event. Hybrid Shakedown, Jah Messengers, Umojah Nation and Carlos Jones and PLUS will gather for the sixth annual Reggae for Food tonight at 7 p.m. at the CSU Student Center Ballroom. The event, organized each year by All Faiths Pantry, will raise money to connect families in need with helpful assistance and programming. All Faiths Pantry sources food from local food banks and farmers and national groups, then builds a client base and delivers much-needed meals. For this event, the reggae music is a nice bonus. “It's going to be a great concert for a really great cause,” one volunteer told us. Tickets cost $15 in advance at Coventry Cats in Cleveland Heights or the Root Cafe in Lakewood or $20 at the door. (Sandy) 2121 Euclid Ave., 216-496-4329, allfaithspantry.org.
