Bob Frank credits the legendary Chicago guitarist Mike Bloomfield and other Jewish musicians for the blues and jazz material in tonight's encore of Even Jews Get the Blues Returns! "You don't have to think hard to come up with major names in those genres," says Frank, a guitarist in the Cleveland Jewish Blues All-Star Band. "We didn't invent opera or the symphony, but we gave the world jazz, blues, and perhaps the sitcom." The quintet performs at 7 tonight at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, 2929 Richmond Road in Beachwood. Tickets are $12 to $15. Call (216) 593-0575 or visit www.maltzjewishmuseum.org.
