Kanye West: The Saint Pablo Tour

When: Sat., Oct. 1, 8 p.m. 2016

Rapper/producer Kanye West first emerged onto the scene in 2001 as one the producers on Jay Z's seminal album, The Blueprint. In 2004, West released his first album, The College Dropout and its success was fueled by the singles "Jesus Walks," "All Falls Down" and "Slow Jamz." Albums Late Registration, Graduation, 808s & Heartbreak, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Yeezus and The Life of Pablo followed and West has become one of the most respected artists in the industry. West has often courted controversy as his calling out of President George Bush during a Hurricane Katrina benefit and interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards both made international headlines. West is also a fashion designer and has collaborated with Nike and Louis Vuitton in the past. An elaborate production, West's Saint Pablo tour features a floating stage that hovers above the audience and moves during the concert. If nothing else, West is a master showman with a flair for the unexpected and anything can happen at any given moment during one of his sets. We'd expect nothing less. (Emanuel Wallace)
