On last year’s Edgeland, Ohio native Kim Richey records with three different sets of musicians, including top Nashville players and outside-the-mainstream artists such as Robyn Hitchcock and Chuck Prophet. With a remarkable career that stretches back nearly 25 years, Richey draws equally from country, pop and Americana. Opener Radney Foster started his career as a songwriter after moving to Nashville in 1985. He co-wrote a Top Ten hit for Sweethearts of the Rodeo and went on to commercial and critical success as part of the duo Foster & Lloyd. They recorded three albums in the late 1980s, scoring a series of country hits. Released in 2017, his third solo effort, 2017's For You to See the Stars, showcases his classic, soulful storytelling.
