King's Row

When: Sat., June 4 2016

Directed by Sam Wood, Kings Row is perhaps one of the greatest movies Ronald Reagan ever made. The film is set in a small Midwestern town during the pre-WWI era that teems with sex, sadism, moral corruption and bad doctors (one of whom has a tendency to perform unnecessary amputations). It screens at 8:40 tonight and at 3:45 tomorrow at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. Tickets are $9. (Immerman)
