Like a Bat out of Hell

When: Fri., Aug. 16, 7 p.m. 2013

It seems unreal, but with 43 million copies sold worldwide, Meatloaf’s Bat Out Of Hell is one of the most successful albums ever. That was years ago, but Meatloaf fans are out there even though the guy doesn't tour like he used to. Dashboard Lights is the cover band to satisfy the hungry Meatloaf fans. Born and raised in Cleveland, Don Depasquale embodies the iconic singer on stage. He's got the long flowing hair and the kind of voice that can deliver power ballads like “Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad” and “I Would Do Anything For Love.” Meat Loaf also had a fruitful acting career but it’s unlikely that we’ll get a reenactment of Rocky Horror Picture Show or a visual of Robert Paulson’s bitch tits in Fight Club. You can catch the band at Perici Amphitheater tonight at 7 p.m. alongside a slew of other cover bands. Tickets are $10-$30. (William Hoffman)

Price: $10-$30
