Art Exhibits

When: Fri., Aug. 12 2016

This week, MOCA Cleveland begins its new free concert series, LOADED, with three acts utilizing improvisation with composition. The evening features performances by Tashi Dorji (Asheville, NC), Joe Tomino (Cleveland) and Dandelion Moon (Cleveland), as well as Amanda Lee providing projected visuals. This first concert is inspired by Mark Mothersbaugh’s scores for TV and film, which explore the tension between acoustic and electric sounds. This new series is curated by Andrew Auten (Dandelion Moon), Lisa Miralia (Mysterious Black Box on WCSB 89.3 FM), and David Russell Stempowski (Polar Envy). LOADED is free, and admission to MOCA Cleveland’s exhibition is discounted to $5 on Fridays from 5 to 9 p.m. (Usmani)
