Lunch on Fridays

When: Fri., Jan. 20 2017

Looking for an informative and fun way to spend your Friday lunch hour? How about free pizza? Either way, the Cleveland Institute of Art invites the public to the first presentation of its Lunch on Fridays weekly lecture series for the Spring semester at 12:15 p.m today. This Friday’s lecture is presented by Steven Gutierrez, currently teaching both Digital Studies and Charrette classes, as well as the Engaged Practice course “Animation for Food Safety.” On Friday, Gutierrez will discuss his very nontraditional career path — from his start as a mechanical and aerospace engineer at Cornell to his work at Little Tikes/Rubbermaid and NASA, before coming to CIA with 18 years of teaching experience. Lunch on Friday lectures are free and open to the public. As always, free pizza and beverages are also available on a first come, first served basis. Free. (Usmani)
