Make Fun

When: Wed., Feb. 3 2016

In the past few years, Cleveland's comedy scene has taken off. A slew of terrific comics work the local circuit. Local comedians like Ramon Rivas also work to bring big-name comics to town. Make Fun, a new documentary film about the local comedy scene, chronicles the ways in which Northeast Ohio performers must rely on the local community to thrive in Cleveland’s less-exposed independent standup scene. The film includes vignettes, interviews and footage to expose some of the best local talent. The film screens tonight at 7 at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage at an event booked In partnership with Chagrin Documentary Film Festival. Tickets are $6. (Niesel)
