Mardi Gras Party

When: Tue., Feb. 12, 5 p.m. 2013

SOHO Kitchen & Bar identifies itself as a "broadly Southern" restaurant, but tonight it’s going full New Orleans with a special menu featuring Cajun and Creole specialties and a 3-hour live set from Cleveland's own Revolution Brass Band. The kitchen will be firing up a host of festive specialties, from soft-shell crawfish to boudin balls and king cake. The bar will be mixing up traditional Sazeracs and Hurricanes, as well as some unique twists on lesser-known classics like Bourbon Milk Punch and the Vieux Carre. As a last night of revelry before the Lenten Season begins, Fat Tuesday is all about excess. Come celebrate with SOHO as it starts a new Cleveland tradition based on one of the greatest parties of the year. Beads will be provided. Restaurant hours for the event are 5 to 11 p.m. Live music from 7 to 10 p.m. No cover but reservations are appreciated. (Mary Sweeney)
