During her decades-long career, singer Maria Muldaur, who's most famous for the laid-back, sensual hit song "Midnight at the Oasis,"
has done a bit of everything. She’s been on Broadway and has worked with Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead. Her most recent effort, 2011’s Steady Love, features bluesy romps such as “Soulful Dress” and "Walk by Faith," rowdy tunes that should translate well when Muldaur plays them live.Recorded in the Big Easy, the album includes covers of tunes by Elvin Bishop, Percy Mayfield, Eric Bibb, Bobby Charles and Stephen Bruton.
