Thrash metal band, Megadeth continue their Dystopia World Tour with Meshuggah, TesseracT and Lillake. Dystopia, Megadeth’s 15th studio album, goes back to their roots as the album is saturated with riffs, heavy pounding drums and bass and plenty of solos throughout. Considered to be a part of “the big four” with Anthrax, Metallica and Slayer, Megadeth formed in 1983, with their first major-label record released in 1986, Peace Sells… but Who’s Buying. Megadeth was originally formed as a “revenge” band when guitarist Dave Mustaine was expelled form Metallica and promised himself that he would form a heavier and faster band. Over the years, Megadeth gained huge success and until their temporary break-up when Mustaine suffered a relapse, followed by an arm injury. The album’s title track won the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. (Adrian Leuthauser)
