Mike Farley

With Joe Rohan. 9 p.m. Saturday, May 5. No cover. At Flannery's, 323 Prospect Ave., Euclid Corridor, Downtown, 216-781-7782.

Singer-songwriter Mike Farley currently hails from Tennessee, but he logged twelve years in Cleveland, and he still talks Browns at his blog, -- so surely you can give him a couple hours of your time. "My voice has been compared to that dude from the Jellyfish," says Farley. "In current musical terms, the songs land somewhere between the Damnwells and the Fray." That means melody comes first. Get a taste of his upcoming acoustic album this weekend at an unplugged show
