MIX: Games

When: Fri., Aug. 5 2016

For the first time since their highly successful Solstice at the end of June, the Cleveland Museum of Art hosts monthly MIX at CMA. Back with a bang, MIX: Games will be held outside on the CMA’s South Terrace. In conjunction with WKYC Channel 3, MIX: Games celebrates the 2016 Summer Olympics. The event is also inspired by George Bellow’s iconic Stag at Sharkey’s and the CMA’s current exhibition Stag at Sharkey’s: George Bellows and the Art of Sports. Historically, August’s MIX is the biggest event after Solstice, and the museum encourages reserving your tickets now. MIX: Games takes place from 6 to 11 tonight. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 day of event or free for CMA members. Additionally, the CMA hosts its Tastings on the Terrace weekly summer event from 5 to 8 tonight. This week's theme is “Pinot grigio vs. pinot gris.” Tasting flights range from $8 to 10. (Usmani)
