DJ duo saddles up, remixes Brokeback theme to fame.

Just when you thought all the fuss over Brokeback Mountain had finally ridden off into the sunset, San Francisco DJs Gabriel & Dresden recently unveiled a dance-club mix of the gay-cowboy movie's theme song. It'll be among the tracks they'll spin tonight when they take over the turntables at Metropolis.

The duo's revamped version of Gustavo Santaolalla's Oscar-winning Brokeback song, "The Wings," debuted in March at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, where Gabriel & Dresden were nominated for four awards, including Best American DJ. They ended up bringing home the Best Remixer trophy, beating out five other nominees, including club faves Sasha and Deep Dish.

After tonight's gig, the pair will spend the rest of the month touring the states, before crossing the Atlantic to perform at dance clubs in Cyprus, Sweden, and Scotland through the summer.
