Muppet Mania

When: Sat., Feb. 1 2014

In the classic team-up of frog, bear, extraterrestrial and pig, Jim Henson's 1981 film The Great Muppet Caper takes the Muppet gang across the pond to Britain in search of a fashion designer's stolen diamond necklace. Though it's not necessarily hailed as the greatest Muppet movie of all time, it's always a pleasant experience watching hijinks and other comic mischief. Voiced by original creators Henson and Frank Oz, the film features appearances by John Cleese, Charles Grodin and Peter Falk. Parents can reminisce while exposing their children to one of the greatest groups of film entertainers. The film shows today and tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the Capitol Theatre. Tickets are $1. (Stoops)
