My Fair Lady

When: Fri., Sept. 23 2016

When a linguistics professor bets that he can convert a lowly Cockney flower girl into "a lady of high society," he gets more than he bargained. That's the premise of the classic musical My Fair Lady. The play features hit tunes such as “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly,” “The Rain in Spain,” “On the Street Where You Live” and “Get Me to the Church on Time." The Great Lakes Theatre Company's adaptation of the play opens tonight at 7:30 at the Hanna Theatre, where it runs through Oct. 29. Tickets start at $15. (Niesel)
