Mystery Train

When: Fri., Dec. 27 2013

Mentor High alum Gina Telaroli, who currently holds down a gig in director Martin Scorcese's office, directed Traveling Light, a film that chronicles a snow train ride from New York to Cleveland. There's no dialogue in the 69-minute movie as Telaroli chooses to focus on the changing landscape. Film Comment called it one of the 50 best undistributed films of 2012. The movie screens tonight at 7 at the Cleveland Museum of Art along with Telaroli's short film 4'81/2", a collection of train scenes from classic movies. The director will attend the screening as well and lead a discussion after the films show so you can ask her about her obsession with trains. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
