It's gotten to the point where we can't even say we're "rebuilding" anymore. How can you "rebuild" something that never existed? We haven't even figured out the blueprint to the building, let alone started putting together the tools and resources to actually create something.
Unbelievable show. That's how you do it. Play your new album in its entirety and then give the fans exactly what they want. I hate when some bands feel like they're above playing the songs that turned most of the audience into fans in the first place. Everyone heard their favorite song, they did an awesome mix across their albums, and every person in the audience left feeling like they got their money's worth. Additionally, you could tell the band was really tuned in. You could hear the passion in the vocals, the guitars; everything. If only the auditorium didn't have a horrible echo that really made the bass feel mushy and sometimes washed out the vocals. Oh well. Overall just a top notch show by a band who obviously truly cares about their craft. Fantastically entertaining.
The Scene is great at reporting on everything but sports. If you think it's stupid and not worth talking about, why write 2,000 words on it, especially without a particularly strong POV?
