Once you get past Briggs frontman Joey LaRocca’s faux Brit sneer, the retro punk on their latest album, Back to Higher Ground, can be quite a charge. The Briggs name Bob Dylan as a huge influence, but sharp listeners will notice lots of Clash and Social Distortion too.
