    Re: “The Comics Issue!
Log off the public library computer and buy either a new computer or a copy of the issue. Oh wait, the papergame is free! And it's available all over the city! If you don't have a magnifying glass, I hear the stand on the corner of Euclid and Shaw has extra-large print copies...

I loved the smiling alien of joy when I was a boy going to games.

But that was when I was younger. Now that I am a man, I realize there are things such as racism and stereotypes in today's world. I understand that people do things without caring about right and wrong or whether someone is offended or not.

Chief Wahoo does remind of ball games with my father, memories that I cherish dearly. But I don't need an offensive image to bring back those memories and the Cleveland Indians no longer ought to promote the symbol as a part of the organization.

Queeniez71: If you aren't keeping tabs on how bad he is doing, you probably don't hate him "with all that I am." Hate involves passion, which involves knowing these sorts of things.
For example, I already have my signs and tickets ready in the basement safe. All I have to do is add the most current stats when the day arrives, and I'm good to go!
My guess is you really still like him and miss him. Thanks for the comments!

Kenrmer: Modell moved the team, enough said. I acknowledge you're right in saying there were lots of other factors/people/politics that went into the situation and I respect that. But at the end of the day, Art Modell pulled the trigger.
But do you really believe that a man who was innovative enough to hold Pre-Season Doubleheaders, host the first Monday Night Football Game, and sign Jim Brown wasn't smart enough to find a way to make money off 80,000 seats in Cleveland?
He got a sweet deal from Baltimore, and being the businessman that he was, he took it. And he broke my heart and the heart of everyone else I care deeply about. And so I hate him. And you should too. Unless you're a Steelers fan... which I'm guessing you are. Thanks for the comments!

I wish he would have refrained from posting as well. Nothing needed to be said - it was the lone blemish on a fantastic evening.

It makes sense that he would fire a coach who brought improvement to the team in order to fulfill his own desires.

I watched that and instantly got up out of my chair to go run a half marathon. Nice job coach!
