Padre Padrone

Billed as Two Tavianis Times Three, this mini festival at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque showcases the films of brothers Paolo and Vittorio Taviani. Born in Tuscany, they've made movies since the '60s. The series starts continues tonight with Padre Padrone, a film about an illiterate Sardinian shepherd who uses education as a way to find a better life. The film screens today at 5 p.m. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
