Some critics have called Larry Clark's 1978 flick, Passing Through, the "greatest jazz movie ever made." The film follows a saxophonist as he's released from prison and tries to connect with his grandfather. The soundtrack features songs by John Coltrane, Charlie Parker and more. It screens at 2 p.m. at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. Tickets cost $12, or $9 for Cinematheque members and students. (Niesel)
