The third annual SCENE Magazine Pig & Whiskey festival features a wide range of whiskeys, bourbons and scotches in addition to mouth-watering barbecue from some of the country’s best grillers. The three-day event kicks off today in downtown Willoughby, where it continues through Sunday. The family-friendly outdoor celebration includes a dozen restaurants (including local favorites like Crooked River) along with dozens of bourbon and whiskey specialists to sample, including established Kentucky-based distilleries such as Woodford Reserve and Jack Daniel’s. For the vodka lovers out there, Tito’s Handmade Vodka will serve up craft cocktails, and for the wine lovers, Dark Horse Wines will be on hand. In addition to the great food and whiskeys, this event also provides great entertainment options. Pig & Whiskey will feature two stages with live music – 80s on Friday, 90s on Saturday when Eve 6 headlines and country on Sunday. There will also be a kid’s activities area. Free admission for all ages. Drink tickets can be purchased at the event.
