You may know stand-up comedian Jim Gaffigan from his popular Hot Pockets bit, one of YouTube’s greatest hits. He’ll perform it at his two shows in Lakewood today. But like a great jazz song, the joke keeps evolving and expanding. The folks who manufacture the stuffed sandwiches make it easy, says Gaffigan. “They introduce a new one, like, every eight minutes." Audiences can also expect fresh material. “I assume that people want to hear new stuff,” says Gaffigan, who’ll ruminate on things he runs across every day<\!s>.<\!s>.<\!s>. like escalators. “I look at people behind me and say, You guys follow me,” he says. “This is my escalator.”
