Seasonal Special Happenings

Richard the Great

When: Fri., Sept. 13, 7:30 p.m. 2013

Way back in 1995, writer-director Richard Linklater created an arthouse franchise of sorts with his dialogue-heavy Before Sunrise. A film about a couple (Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy) that meets in Budapest and quickly fall in love, it's a chick flick for the thinking man. Linklater has subsequently followed Before Sunrise with Before Sunset and Before Midnight, each sequel coming seven years after the previous film. Starting tonight with a 7:30 screening of Before Sunrise, the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque will show all three films over the course of the weekend. Check the Cinematheque website for the times of the other showings. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)

Price: $9
